I hope you can help me,

I had a problem with my ECU, I sent it away to company to have it replaced and to be told they could do anything with it, the problem was the car not starting sometimes, cutting out, giving various false positives on the display, so off it went to them. They never sent it back, and have are no longer trading =(

So I have bought an ECU off ebay, the exact same model, version... everything.

Of course it wont work in the car ( A citroen c2 VTR) as its not paired to the immobiliser, I am fairly good with a soldering iron etc, but when it comes to whats needed to get the ECU singing with the rest of the system I'm sure.

I'm hoping its just a matter of turning off the immobiliser?, but I'm in the dark.

I have a few tools I have borrowed, a Gellatto 1260 and a BDM 100 tool.
