I want to update my gearbox and dsc software to do it that I need to update engine software. But my ecu map is already modified and I don't want to lose it.

I have plan but I'm not sure if gonna work properly

Step
1: read and save the map (modified) in the car
2: update car software to the latest version (after that map back to the original)
3: put back old map to car

Is gonna work properly ???

I'm newbie in software change so I not manage to change software by my self. Just wonder if my old software gonna work with new gearbox software ?
