BMW E60, Need help in finding MAPS.

Postby Uraganas » Fri Nov 13, 2015 2:25 am

So as everybody else, I'm here to learn about tuning. As every newbie I'm kinda in trouble of finding the right map locations. I'm posting my .bin file and hoping somebody could help me out? Or at least give me a way to start. Maybe there is a guide on EDC16 BMW's maps visualizations, or how to recognize it? All the help is appreciated :)
P.S I'm also posting a proffesionally tuned E60 M57 (3,0d automoatic gera box) file.

Here is my bin file (EDC 16 C31):

And here is professionally mapped E60 if pulled from my client's car. Maybe someone needs for learning purposes like me :)

Hi mate,
Profi file is not profi, is just a modest mod file with a lot of mistakes, too much boost, to small IQ, bad torque limiters, missing maps, bad Nm/IQ mod,bad limiters, bad Lambda maps, and so on.
Have pm with a mappack of tuned file, will help you to learn how to find maps, maps name and so on.
BTW-650Nm on Torque limiters maps is just a dream, this mod file is made for max. 530-535Nm and 230-235HP, no more.
Safe tuning for this car can get 600Nm and 280HP,no HW mods.

Thanks for your quick replay!
Really? :O That company takes a lot of money. About 150Euro for a tune. And that car pulls pretty nicely. It has automatic gearbox, really big difference from stock one!
I'm very greatful for your help, but the thing is,I can not read nor write private messages :D
Maybe you could post some of map packs somewhere else I could reach? I'm not trying to steal your work, it's just I love BMW's and want to try learn about programming, not just an easy way of copy paste chiptunning :)
