BMW E46 320d 150 EDC16 EGR OFF + P0402 Delete

Postby jammywood » Sun Aug 13, 2023 12:36 pm

Hi guys, looking for some guidance / help for deleting EGR (Has been blanked on car mechanically) but also need to delete the error code P0402 that will pop up. Does anyone know where this error code is located at all so I can try and delete it or if anyone would be kind enough to take a look for me please. ECU attatched.

Many thanks :)))))

You also need to post original file for checksums.

Hi, thanks for the reply. My previous post regarding popcorn limiter / hardcut was made a good few days before i noticed this topic. I do not have an original file due to the car being remapped before by the previous owner so the only file I have is the one posted. Someone has managed to sort me out with the DTC & EGR delete so no worries with that now, just needing to find out how / where to do the hardcut / popcorn on the ECU in WinOLS

I can provide EGR off and removal of P0402 but you will need to fix checksums yourself
Also your file is not 200bhp but more like 156hp

ah ok yh now worries regarding EGR delete and DTC delete. Someone managed to do it and DTC has been deleted. In regards to power that seems odd to me, it keeps up farely well with my 330d but obviously the 330d has got the better end of it. that seems odd to me though. I trust what you say anyways :D

YH the EGR and DTC is all sorted now. If you had any clue about popcorn / harduct that would be great but main issue is sorted for now. And that has shocked me regarding the car not being mapped. Its a 150bhp standard but supposedly mapped to 221. It keeps up well with my 330d so it comes as a surprise.

Cheers

This SW number is 120hp as standard so you got an extra 36bhp mapped from standard.
