BLS soft write to BMM ecu EDC16U34

Postby banshe12 » Sun Jan 28, 2018 9:23 pm

Hey! I have a second ECU edc16U34 from BMM 2.0 tdi 140PS PD engine.
Can I load soft from BLS 1.9 tdi 105PS PD? ECU has immo disabled.
Will it work? Will I damage the driver?

why on earth would you want to do that? are you trying to save money not to tune the second ecu?

We need way more details, why are you trying to do it?

It depends if the hardware is the same, The immo is in the EEprom so you would need to swap that as well

It will also need to be done through BDM, do not do it through OBD

It one of those things where you will have to suck it and see, if the MCU and EEprom are the same which they should be, you won't do any damage.

I want to practice on the second ecu.
I tried to upload soft from BLS, but my galley V54 could not do it.
There was an error during uploading.
