Best starting point to learn

Postby Greeny » Thu Jun 20, 2019 5:33 am

Hi all.

I'm a diesel mechanic and have for a long time wanted to get into tuning. Not so long ago I bought a cheap kess v2 clone and was able to download the map off my renault master workvan. Its and edc17c42.

Ive got the winols demo but am having trouble identifying maps. I wanted some suggestions off you all on the best place to start for information/education.

Best regards and thanks in advance

Oh boy, i think best way to start learning is to get a hold of AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE EDC15 files and go from there by trying to find, identify and recognize maps. Then your next step is to try and FULLY understand meaning and purpose of those maps.
I think EDC15V and EDC15P are best covered in forums so i would advice to start with those.

Cheers mate. Ive been watching a few videos to do with edc15. Then had a look at the data from my edc17 and really struggled. I fidured probably safe to assume its the same same but far more complicated or cryptic.

Ill start with playing with edc15 like u said... cheers mate
