BDM100

Postby rajivc666 » Wed Nov 21, 2012 8:30 pm

I bought a bdm100 and bdm100 frame, with each of item I received adapters for ECU Marelli , Delphi and Siemens . The marelli adapter which I am interested in has different pin configurations in both cases as under.
Also I have no clue as to how to connect the bdm100 cable to the adapter which came with it . If somebody is using this hardware please advice me. Thanks in advance.

Rajivc666 look that we are on the same boat, I'm waiting for my bdm probably will arrive tomorrow.

Not sure but I guess that you need to connect the bmd probe to the frame probe, so they will be one in the top of the other, the problem appear to be that you don't have the pogo pins. I'm new on this as you look to be, so I'm not the best one to help you.

Actually they have provided pins for the BDM frame adapter (larger one) separately which has to be soldered by us I guess. If I do that my problem is over. But still there is this difference in pin configuration between the two adapters which is troubling me, which is correct or is both wrong. If I connect it like you say then the pogo pins will go into the Cable :D , I tried all combinations. Actually they should have provided the connection like the bigger adapter on the smaller one , then all would have been fine as the smaller one has pins on the other side ( which is rather small but can be used and is exactly the same spacing as marelli connection)
