Audi A4 B5 troublemaker

Postby martin940 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:50 pm

Hey guys, I have this A4 B5 which causes me heaps of troubles.
First off, it's not a regular old A4 B5, this one is swapped with a 2.7T from an Audi A6.
I've rebuilt the entire engine and am better with wrenches than the computer-flashing situation.
I've tried for hours on end to read all the files from my ECU, which didn't seem to go anywhere.
I had another ECU with another number which I finally got all the files out of with KTAG in Boot-mode,
the problem here is that with this ECU I never got the immo to be adapted to the car in the normal, vag-com way.
So I'm really looking for an immo off for this ECU.

The ECU Part number is 4Z7 907 551 E, and I got four files out of it.
One on 1kb, another on 316kb, and lastly one on 1024kb, last but not least 32kb. And from what I've read, the 1024kb file is the entire flash-part which controls everything. So which of the files here are for immo? And how can I remove the pest?

Oh! And the file types are: .EPR for 1kb, no given file type for the 1kb, .FLS for the 1024kb and .mpc for the 32kb one.

I'm guessing it's an EDC15/16 ? .. you need to modify the .EPR file to make immo off

Any recommended cheap-skate softwares for editing these files? Tried HxD, but it's all gibberish.

Again, I'm sorry for being a total noob at this stuff, but I'm here to hopefully learn. So please stick with me!
