AR Giulietta 1.4 multiair 170 tct

Postby michass » Mon Jan 18, 2016 7:21 pm

hi,
i'm collecting money for new car.
my 206 hdi 90 is ok, but little old.
i'm thinking about Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 Multiair 170 hp Marelli 8GMF with tct transmission.
i can't find any informations about tuning hardware and difficult modification is.
what about tct transmission? how to do this?
galetto v54 is enough? i have galetto 1260, but i think it's not enough.
is there any damos or something to start?
can anyone help me about this?
thanks in advance
Michał

I don't know much about on bench read/write.
I don't have skills with soldering, i'm affraid a little.
How about BDM, and spring needle (frame).
I think safe way is get full flash & eeprom at first time for recover, and work via OBD.
Which tool is best for this two way?
And how about TCT transmission and tune?
Best Regards

I check kess v2, and in car list i found, that Kess only can write, not read, 8gmf ECUs.
I need tool for make full copy for recovery, and tool for OBD flashing.
I don't wan't to buy two units. Full recovery unit (jtag) i want to use only once at start, and have possibilities to recover, when OBD goes bad.
best Regards

on the description list are present only write and checksum but when you connect to car and select the right family you can do two operation : virtual reading (automatic if you have original files archive inside software) or "real reading", this option are present for mjet8 and multiair, i don many and many of this!
this ecu have stable protocol for communication, no problem for read-write-checksum-multiair/multijet procedure!

With Kess V2 Original there is no problem with reading and writing this ECU.

And what about tunning? The ECM maps are enough? or maybe you need somethig more?
A2L seems aren´t easy to find.
