Hi, I have the car in the topic subject.
I would like to know the following:

1. what hardware tool should I purchase so I can play with my engine ECU ( read/write parameters files ) ? is just a hoby related thing, so I don't look forward to spend a lot of money on the tool since it brings no profit.
Let's say is only in educational purpose, and if i find that I like this, I will try to invest more money in genuine tools later.
Does any tool like FGTech v54 /galletto, mpps work?

2. what software do I have to use for this purpose (to read, edit parameters).

3. the above tools, i assume are working for DPF/EGR removal in the eventuality I want to do that at a certain point, since the recirculated gases are producing a lot of soot on the walls of intake manifold, throttle body, swirl flaps, EGR, and makes the car respond slow at low revs.

Thank you in advance,
Victor

Hi,

1. any of the tools mentioned will work
2. best software to learn and work with is winols
3. with 1 and 2 combined it's possible to disable dpf and egr
