Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 16v 140 hp

Postby Admir85 » Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:04 am

Hi,
I paid to "pro tuner" to do a remap, expecting to get 25% more power and torque,he promised better average consumption.
After 500 km with new map, avg.consumption jumped from 4.8 to about 6.5 liters/100 km. Consumption while driving 70 km/h was bad in comparing to original map,but consumption while driving around 100 km/h was better then the original.
That wasn't the only problem, car didn't feel any faster than before, and after measuring accelerations (80-120 and 80-180 km/h) figures that I got are similar to original (according to zeperfs.com 80-120 7.3 in 4th,I measured 7.6 sec,and 80-180 - 27,6,I measured 28 seconds). If the car really had 170 hp (with this weight) it should go from 80-120 in about 6 seconds and from 80-180 in about 23 seconds.
So here are maps, original,"pro tuner",my try to fix things 2 maps (haven't really tried any of this 2 yet, waiting for some comment, entered some values from ducati corse version)
So if someone could help by reviewing this maps...

156 edc16c8 original.bin

156 edc16c8 pro tuner.bin

156 edc16c8 by me update.bin

156 edc16c8 by me hard tune.bin

Would it be safe to try one of my files and would it change anything ?

Thanks

I can help you, but unfortunately I have only one post and I can't get your tuned file. If you want you can send me PM and I'll see what's so wrong with tuned file.

The IQ is set to 111 mm3 this value is for about 210 PS
For this engine 80mm3 = obout 180PS, 90=190PS 100=200+
For this PS IQ you have to modification IQ vs NM maps. Of course is modified but for 500Nm !
SOI is modified only for 90mm3
You have the factory clutch ? These values of torque limiters are very dangerous for standard clutch.
Atm. turbo limiter and SVBL is too big. 2,6 bar is max for this turbo. This value is very dangerous for this turbocharger !
SVBL2 - FBA2E is don't modified... happily. Still is max 2500 mbar.
Rail pressure and rail limiters is don't modified.
What else has changed ? Dread to think ...Tuning is bad (pro tuner file "156 edc16c8 pro tuner.bin ") only egr off is correct.

I you want I can send you correctly the mappack and correctly the tuned file for about 390 Nm and 190 PS. The last time (about 2 month ago) I tuned this ECU.

Sorry for my bad english ;
