Alfa 159 2.4 jtdm 210cv - smoke and VDC :(

Hi everyone! This is the map that I loaded on my car.

it runs fine but it smokes during warm up when the turbo kicks in and (I don't know if it's related but it might) the traction control intervenes very often even at low speeds

Is there a problem with the map or shall I check other stuff? (inlet manifold, turbo, injectors...)

Do you have original file?

I didnt check the remap but i have some customer with the same issue and with same car
We find problem, and it was injectors
After that we tested it again and everything work back to normall ( without any smoke )
We removed DPF, and uploaded DPF off + tuned file and customer after that was happy

Oops sorry, there it is

I don't think the injectors are faulty, I checked the "correction factors" with the suggested procedure and they are within normal values (+- 2 and the sum of all five values is 0)

I fear for the turbo and the inlet manifold though

For get what the +-2 say when logging do a leak of test on the injectors ur soon no if there good or not

Anyway I'll get everything cleaned and tested eventually, but what about the map? Is there something wrong with it?

Turbo: +16,6% ( +400mbar )
Injection duration: +15%
Torque Limiter: +3%
IQ Limiters: stock
etc,...

Can you tell us what do you wanna acomplish with this?
For us this tuning its not OK, and you should start over

I didn't do this. I'm too embarassed to say how much I paid a "professional" for this :oops:

Is the turbo in danger? I ran 5000km with this map and it whistles a lot, it's clearly audible at low speeds :(

Thats its too much turbo pressure for stock turbine,...
That company/person he can claim he its proffesional but for us this tuning its not OK and its not proffesionalv work

I'll get it fixed and ask for my 400£ back. This garage is a very acknowledged one but it lacked the honesty of telling me he didn't know jack s*** about multijets :evil:

I'm waiting for a galletto 1260 clone (hoping that it works) so that I can get a good map from someone else, have it triple-checked and upload it myself. You can't trust anyone these days.

Hi, this mod file, is not so...so bad...it`s bad about 90% :D
But, maybe smoke is not only because the mod file the "tuner" not make some maps, so your tune is not so strong, and you have a lot of boost, with that boost, I think cant be a lot of smoke, maybe a little.
dpf not good, will make regen. ;)
