A Newbie from Portugal.

Postby DavidRUCABITS » Sun Oct 05, 2014 10:21 pm

Hi there,

My Name is David, i'm 23 y/o and as you could see above i'm from Portugal.

i'm starting on the tuning world, i have the base knowledge about engines, how they work and how to extract more power from it.

After i watch some tutorial on youtube i choose two softwares (WinOls and VAG EdcSuite) i prefer winOls and because of that i started to do the map of mine Ibiza PD130 ASZ with the Edc15XXXXXXDQ Ecu.

Right now i have one question that i can't find the answer for it. And there it goes.

I did some basic tune on the file starting from the stock file of my car. When i get the base tune done i cant save the remap, the saved map is appearing on "my Documents" with a different Name (like DavidAsus_10006) and with a BIG Size (like 2130kb). I dont know why is this happening, and i hope you can help me with this.

Cause i'm stubborn i re-did the map on Vag EDC Suite and the same tune is now with the correct size 512Kb and in the place that i choose to store it.

Please HELP!! xD

With the tune that i made i run yesterday a 15.3 on the quarter, its a really base tune, no smoke or big injection figures cause i'm running (for now) a FULL Stock car with the Catalitic converter =S

Thank you guys!
