207 hdi injector recoding needed in Cambs area

Postby kwempe » Fri Jan 10, 2014 1:06 am

This car is a 207 Hdi 90, 2006 and it has lost its stored injector codings after a trial remap. The original file has been put back on and a read back from the car show it as byte by byte identical to an original taken long before it was mapped but the car is now in limp home mode and throwing a fault that shows it needs the injetor codes to be entered. I know I need to find Lexia but is there anybody in Cambridgeshire or surrounding areas that i might be able to entrust this work to?
thanks in advance....

What tool did you use?
I never had this happen on mine with a galletto clone tool and I did a C4 once and it was BINGO
Did you try disconnecting the batterie for a long time, like +30mins :?:
Btw did you try one of my maps? did you try them directly or did you copy paste with your own read, if you did use one?

MPPS and Galetto, yes we used one of your maps, I was a quite reluctant because I'm out of my comfort zone away from EDC15 P but my mate sat down and looked at your map and his using a winols demo and they looked identical except for the modified values. The Ecu number was the same. Garages are refusing to touch it now and Peugeot are saying they might just fit a new ecu  the car runs and drives but is in limp mode and is showing an incorrect or missing injector configuration fault code........

I should say too that using a hex editor to compare your ORI and the ori that was taken from the car, they are identical, a re-read also produces and identical file to yours and the one taken from the car weeks ago. I think the dealer is wrong saying the ecu is trashed I think it needs somebody prepared to re-enter the codes written on the injectors cack to the ecu.......

Like I said I got the same problem on my father in laws car...
I allways wanted an actie cable to be able to work with pp2000/lexia, so I did...
still need to get it done though, will try to get him here, so I can test if it works out...
