2006 Jetta 1.9 TDI IMMO OFF

Postby Ragnarok » Wed Jan 07, 2026 9:44 pm

Hello, can someone delete the immobilizer from my ECU bin? I think it is an EDC16.
I tried programming a new key and locked out the security because of using the wrong pin.
Thanks.

also AKL isnt that complicated on these. You have a backup of your cluster and ecu eeprom? just write those back and your key will work again, otherwise go through the AKL procedure and program a new one. immo off is a lazy solution to this problem

I was able to use Cobra Immo Remover to pull the SKC pin and also perform and IMMO OFF on the bin.
After trying to program the new key I think that the transponder pill is bad, as it was not readable.
Flashed the IMMO off bin and I an actually drive my car now!

Your Immo off is ok, you don't need to program keys after this.
