2.2 Hdi EDC15... BSI/DPF complete removal?

Postby Piggy » Mon Jul 27, 2015 11:01 pm

Hi all gurus...

I am intending to use a 2.2 as a new engine in my project car. Wishing to keep things simple I intend to use a EDC15 from a 306/206 as they came in their simplest form. However we need to enable boost control, thus having the 2.2 edc15 ecu, we intend to take the hardware from it and put into a earlier edc15.

But to save that work... is there a way to completely remove the BSi comms code and DPF/flap control on the edc15 from the 2.2 so that the EML light will function and not just stay on all the time!

:-)

You put yourself engine 2.2, instead of 2.0?
bsi and the ECU, you use your own?
Then you need the firmware (SW) from the ECU 2.2, and remove the DPF. But the version of HW fit?
