Hi guys. I have problem with my xsara picasso 2.0 hdi rhy.first problem was low pressure pump which stop running. So i changed it, i cleaned DRV valve and car starts quite good. But in full load engine shut off. Starting was very long but engine started, but now it dont want start and i think the problem is low pressure in rail. Diagnostic showing me maximum 110 bar while starting. And when i look at maps in ecu. Minimum pressure while starting should be 300 bar.( In requested rail pressure map). So i think high pressure pump is finito. Its a true? Rail pressure while starting should be approximately 300bar?sorry for english :shifty:

Hi. May be a problem in the pressure regulator. He does not hold pressure. Or leakage from the nozzles, see the return line from the injectors. And so on

possibly fuel pressure sensor faulty giving low reading

I change high pressure fuel pump DRV valve, and rail presure sensor, and still nothing. Rail pressure while starting is maximum 100bar. And when i look into duration map, i can see injectors opening at least 120 bar in rail. I really dont know where is problem. :(

Check electrical fuel pump tank mounted.
When you turn ignition on, but without starter unit (second position of key)pump should give fuel for couple seconds.

yes fuel pump in tank is good. I listen it and when i disconnect fuel pipe from fuel filter and give key to second position fuel sprayed from it. It should be ok. Maybe is really leaking one injector and here it loosing pressure, i try to overflow test of injectors.

Yes, i did overflow test of injectors, and one injector is bad, all fuel flows into the overflow. I will change it this weekend and i will write... Thank for help.

Yes it starts. Engine run after were injector replaced. That is very interesting: engine had very very bad start, but if it starts, it runs good, and problem was injector :)

The good thing with them injectors is, the are plenty of them on Ebay so nice and cheap.
