Hello everyone,

Im starting with basic understanding of maps, identifications, and how does it works, so i selected my Peugeot Partner 2010 1.6Hdi 90ps, edc16c34 0281013872 sw 1037386166 sw upg 103739398220.
I managed to find some maps, and have been playing around with them, with some positive results and also some still misunderstanding.
Found the Drivers wish maps, did some changes and good results on lower rpm, clutch kiss point and take off torque was achieved, far better than stock and less black smoke.

Something i dont figure out is the pilot injection.
On original stock file if i read real data, start /advance of pil inj is exactly the same as Main inj, for most engine running conditions, only when release the accelerator pedal when IQ drops to 0 is when Pilinj drops lower/later than Mi, Pilinj 0.71° and Mi 9.18° at 1280rpm IQ 0mg/st (this waa a sreen shot at decelerating at driving downhill, accel pesal off), but on idle, lower, higher rpm accelerating, cruising the pilinj advance angle is exactly the same as Mi, is that normal?
The engine nuns a bit noisy /rough and a bit black smoke.

When i test another ecu from a 2006 Citroen C4 110hp sw 1037371536 the car runs far better, more power, no black smoke, and reading the real data the pilinj is much advanced /earlier than Mi, about 7° earlier on idle, 15° earlier than Mi at 2500rpm stationary at IQ 4.7 temp 40°C.

Any idea why is it behaving like that, if the software was designed like that and why, or if something on the file is causing that.
The file is original and no errors stored/registered.

Where about are the pil and Mi SOI maps located on this file? I found quite a few of them from 1D37C0 up to about 1DAB38 but looking at them could not figure out which is Pil and Mi, might need to understand correction maps and limiters on phasing of injectors for better understanding.

Could please give me a clue of what these maps are and how they work related to correction maps and limiters.

Many thanks for sharing some info and knowledge.
