EGRoff/shut Citroen Relay/Jumper 2.2hdi 2004 EDC15c2

Postby mmcolour » Sun Feb 10, 2013 9:13 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to switch EGR off in my van. I found that with EDC15C2 I should look for 001 001 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048 string but I didn't find it. Instead I changed all values in EGR map to highest value I found in the map and this way EGR will be shut all the time - correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Mariusz

Wrong. You will have check engine light and DTC in diagnostic.

Yes, 8 bit decimal value 001 set to 000. (Inside 71AF8 map...)
String is not always 10 columns. ;)

You are very close to your solution.

Now, make 2 bins, one use address 71B1E, and one 71B1F,
than flash the car and look at diag where is the egr position. It has to be to 0% all the time.
If it is not, than it is another bin :)

Be careful for checksum to be ok and there is nothing you can do wrong. Maintain the voltage above 12V all the time...
This will take you 5mins to try :P

Right, isn't 71B1E for EGR and 71B1F for turbo?

Thanks,
Mariusz

I could but my left my cable at my friends garage and don't want to wake him up ;-) I'll do it tomorrow, first thing in the morning!
Would you be able to give me some direction what to do next if I'd like to remap my van to make it more fuel efficient?
I have already found some of the maps but I reckon I still have lots to find.

Thanks,
Mariusz
