2.2 HDi, is this a good remap

Postby Pyrhel » Thu Nov 26, 2015 4:33 pm

Hello everyone, i have a Citroen C5 (Phase 1) 2.2 HDi with 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is 133/136 hp originally, but it's mapped now. I have to say that there aren't any DTCs or problems with it. Runs smoothly, pulls very well, the FAP is removed and there is a straight pipe in it's place :) The car isn't tested on a dyno, the file was mapped over the internet in the UK and the tuner said it should be around 170 hp now. I'm running this file about an year, but the fuel consumption is a little bit high. I'm attaching the original file and the tuned one, can you check if this is a good remap? If it's not, can you fix it, if I'm not too insolent :)

And one more question, is the EGR disabled by the remapped file? I haven't disconnected the wires connector or the vacuum lines, nor put the blanking plate. Should I?

Original File:
2.2_136_HDi_EDC_15_C2.ori

Remapped and DPF removed file:
citroen_c5_2.2_170_hdi_edc15_dpf_off.bin

You mean that the power increase is low, or its not tuned well?
