Problem car shaking after remap

Postby sacarrao » Fri Feb 20, 2015 7:35 am

Guys, i did a remap using my poor skills on ecu tuning ... I guess i did not bad... and the car is much much better on torque, but when i go on high gear on low rpm, and press 100%trottle the car start to shake, (you feel that the shake is from the center of the car like cluch), and when i pass 2200 rpm the shaking diseppears... A friend of mine talk about cluch problem, other one told me that was my torque limiter map.... Anyone could help me ? I will put here the map to you can see, Thanks

You are requesting to much torque at low RPM. Your clutch can not hold the torque and starts slipping and makes the vibrations. To resolve the problem you can lover the torque a little bit at low RPM or just do not press 100% throttle when you are at hi gear and low RPM.

that could be solved replacing the clutch ? I will slow the IQ at that rpm for now, and give it a shot

Wich car is it?
If it is a Diesel car, and use a Bi-Mass flywheel, the problem may not be only the clutch, it can be the Flywheel that cannot handle that torque.
You can do a reinforced clutch, and try it again, and if it persists , the problem may be the Bi-Mass flywheel

For example, a 1.6TDCI Ford 109bhp, with OEM clutch and flywheel, can handle about 340nm torque...you can do more torque with a carbon clutch and it will not slip, but if you pass the 350nm torque , you can feel the Bi-Mass flywheel shaking all the car lol.

(update: I reduced the IQ on 1700rpm and 2000rpm and the car is not shaking like it was...less torque less shaking, but of course the feel of the torque at that rpm is not the same).

Boas! sim, eu compreendo..
pah nao sei bem que binario aguentam os bimassa dos 1.9tdi de origem, mas em carros mais carregados, a malta opta por monomassa

If you are using dual mass flywheel, maybe cant handle the new torque.Try with carbon clutch or solid fw.
