Hi all,

Ive had trouble before with, mpps v13 and v16 with edc15p. I now have mppsv18 and i am wondering when you brick an edc15p ecu with mpps how do you recover it. As i tried recovery mode in the past with v13 and had no joy.

Of course buying clone tools is not the way, but saying that, the fake MPPS usually works well if you have a Euro clone rather
than a cheap Chinese clone. I've used a Euro clone in recovery mode to recover an EDC15P without any problems.
Chinese v13, v16 & v18 are basically the same HW, just updated SW. V13 is the most stable Euro clone.
I'd also suggest buying real tools rather than any fake anytime... no brainer

I have v18 for edc15p. Then Autotuner for the newer stuff, its only really edc15 im using clone tools with. Do you know where to get the EU version.

Look on eBay, the Chinese one is just a cable and the Euro one has a separate metal box and usb cable.
Just be careful tho and I'd suggest you only use it on your own ECU's and not any customers.

The best EU clone v18 is from car-prog.com
Works flawlessly. I will probably sell mine soon though as getting ori MPPS.

I dont know wwhat are you trying ,but with mpps 18 you can read eeprom ,flash on VAG edc15 ,n opel edc15m ,you can not do noting...In file list edc is present but noting will do .For this reason you can rework vag com usb with ftdi jast soldering ine diode and working with galletto 1260.
