newbie ? 1.9 alh on woodsplitter

Postby wrench42 » Thu Sep 06, 2018 4:56 pm

Hey all, I'm trying to find some help with a wood splitter I've built with a 2003 1.9 TDI. The problem is governing the engine loaded/unloaded without wild rpm swings. Any ideas are much appreciated

EDC 15 brings a function like this.
search google for the "funktionbeschreibung" Funktionsbeschreibung EDC15+ P127-PEA.pdf and look for the chapter "2.9 Arbeitsdrehzahlregelung". google translator will help you. If theres a part of the text which you can't understand, write here, I think i can translate it then. The advantage if you're German :D

edit: just saw, that it's an VE engine. Maybe EDC15V also brings this function. Again, the Funktionsbeschreibung and Google translator will help.

Hi,

I'm thinking about to use 1.9tdi (AFM from audi A4 with BOSCH EDC 15VM 2.V1)to run hydraulic pump and constant rpm governor would awsome. I was searching about the topic and run into EDC15 Funktionsbeschreibung Arbeitsdrehzahlregelung(ADR) section. Far as I understand the text with google translate, this should make motor run with constant rpm if it can be turnd on. Do you have idea that is it allready somehow implement to orginal software or do it require some modification to the software? Was there description that is it always one or is it activated shomehow? Thanks.
