Hi, we do not see any introduce of yourself.
This is the forum where you can learn how to tune cars properly,
using some tuned files from another same cars is wrong way.

Two same cars, with two same ECUs have two different HW or SW numbers which do not suit.

The right way - the only one, is to modify the original bin.

So is it just simplay a case of locating the ecu gettinh the information from it i.e HW and SW then downloading the original bin file for modification. have bought a Galletto 1260 hopefully this should be adequate won't really know til it arrives this week. I bought a piggy back tuning box for my Astra H 1.9cdti 8v which i thought was completely useless as the engine management light was always on and goin into limp mode so thought this was the best way to go. Much appreciative o for the information

If you ask for mappack, you will 99% get garbage.
You do mappack by yourself by reading, learning and investigating. That's the only way to do it right...and you also can decide how deep you want to go with the tune...decision stays on you :)
to use or not tu use... :)

Try to use damos from another cars that uses same generation of ECU,
than in that damos you can look for maps, switches, factors / offsets / units.
You will need some skill, look in 2d mode, you can recognise patterns easily after some practise.
