no power profit after remap in Citroen 2.0 HDI 110

Postby manekin13 » Tue Jul 15, 2014 8:55 pm

Hello, Im trying to do standard tune for my citroen 2.0 HDI 110. I need advice, because probably I missed something. Before I started
I' ve read some walkthroughs and posts about HDI tuning. So, what I ve done? I changed torque limiter map, MAF limiter map, IQ limited by oil and water temperature maps, driver wish map, boost pressure map, boost limiter map vs air pressure and temperature maps. Also I extended N75 valve map on wider range of IQ and raised a little rail pressure and rail pressure limit. I didnt changed maps which include injection duration values because I am afraid of modifying those maps. Problem is that after programming car behaves nearly the same like on the original data. So I ask for help. The link to original file and mod: http://chomikuj.pl/manekin13 (You must click on name to download, if problems will occur i could send files on priv). I will be glad if someone has correct remapped file for this citroen ecu and will send it to me in purpose to compare maps.

hi,
first introdouce yourself.
Than make at least 2 good posts, and attach your files to the board
not to external links, that way you will get help faster.

Ori and mod:
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

answer commes with few hours of delay, due to poor internet connection at my holiday

I wont comment the tune, just i would recommend that avoid percent tuning style and do some math,
changing values in percent does not cover any of math. No profit is result of missed limiters,
even when you remove those limters, you want gain much power with your modifications as they are not calculated at all.

you have missed bunch of things:
- you have changed svrpl but haven't touch rail or any rail limiters except SVLs
- you missed one svrpl and diagnostic limiter as well
- Boost Limiter - RPM vs Air Temp (this is what bothers you the most)
- you haven't changed SOI at all
- SVBL not changed (this is what bothers you the most)

I have few questions. I cant find map Boost Limiter - RPM vs Air Temp, there are only maps Boost limiter - Boost vs Air Temp in EDC15C2 I think, which were tuned but am I wrong? SVBL value is 2300 mBar, the max boost pressure is 2160 mBar so probably I havent to change it, have I? I didnt tuned SOI map because firstly Im not sure I ve found really SOI map( axis is strange - max RPM is about 2800, values are also maybe in miliseconds?) and secondly I dont have enough knowledge to do this properly( I want to do basic tune).
You re right that I missed rail and rail limiters. I will change it.
