News of Recovering ECU

Been playing around with EDC15C2 today (0 281 010 137) and have finally bricked my first ECU.

This was my first attempt so I have a 100% SUCCESS rate.

I rate my chances of being able to recover it as being less than 100%.

I took a full read beforehand. It won’t ID.

Used MPPS v12.

Got a right issue that I cannot get my head around.

As title says, car will not read using OBD socket and Lexia/Diagbox but reads fine with ELM327 adapter and phone app.

I did make backup kess v2 obd. Then AI modify that .bin and i flash it ecu. Now ecu wont answer, cant write anything. Car wont start.

So can i use full backup original file other ecu(same hw and sw), flas it ktag inside ecu? Then flash that partial kess v2 file?

Or what to do?

I just order ktag, i’m not even sure do it support mercedes om613 engine ecu… ...

Before fail I did a backup (plus ID) trough OBD and Kess v2.

Writing was interrupted (Computer failure).
No more OBD-connection possible, Kess would not write again - wrong protocol.

Hello guys, I have tried today to retrofit tail lights of a E60, I had to disable the break bulb as tail light, I did so but after that, when turning headlights on, the xenon at both headlights started flickering then they decrease intensity and turn off, unfortunately I have not made any backups before proceeding… I know, Big mistake.. can somebody guide me how to fix this please?
