Hello from south africa, im an avid alfa romeo fanatic and i love to tinker on my own vehicles, recently i managed to fit chevrolet 3.6 engine in my alfa but seems i need to modify some things in the alfas ecu programming to make it work on the VVT side of things so i am here humbly looking for help

Before I consider a reprogram or replacement I have to make a move cross country so I am looking to first see if I can temporarily deal with the lack of ground running from the intake air temperature sensor and the ECU by grounding the air temperature sensor to the body of the car.
