How to detect maps?

Postby FATEMEH » Tue Mar 12, 2013 10:25 am

Hi,i am working on OM457 ENGINE(TEMIC PLD )and i have got the flash binary file.I loaded it into winOLS and it found potential maps. The problem I face with now is that I cant recognize maps because there is no ID and number for axises to identify.the mpas which are found ,have just data belonging to x and y axises and before them, there is nothing to know about maps.any one can help me?
is there another software to use for this PLD?tnx...

This engine have turbocharger with fixed geometry.More power means more fuel.If you want to cenvert to CNG,software mod is the easiest problem among others.
Detecting maps is a matter of trial and experience, and is the easiest stage in tuning. If you have not been able to identify one map with axes values, will be hard to do a good remap.

I have done this before
upload your bin file, and I will send you some of the important maps names and units.

Hi, I think FATEMEH's snapshot is from Winols, isn't it complete?

I am expecting your feedback as well :)
