How can I copy a original file from one ECU to another

Postby mbastian » Mon Dec 02, 2013 1:07 pm

Hello!

I have 2 Bosch 16C34 ECUs. They are from a Citroen Berlingo 1.6 Hdi 75 hp. One is modified and I want the original Software back on it. I don´t have the original file but I have a similar ECU from another similar car. Can I read the original flash from the one ECU and write it to the other or do I have to make changes like VIN? I´m new with this. I have a BDM100 Tool an will try to read the ECU later the day... Or ist it easyer to turn the Immo off from the other ECU and use it instead of the other? (I never turned Immo off before...) All I want is turning the ECU of my car the way it was when it left the factory to go thru the emmissions test.

Hi all,
I'm new in this area, so I want to ask if I could swap the ECU from my new beetle 1999 with ECU from Golf4 of 1999? The original ECU is 038 906 012 and the other is 038 906 018. What is the procedure for replacement?

And what is diferent between MSA15 and EDC15?
thank you

You should clone them Flash+Eeprom BDM is the best choice for that.

Tactrix EcuFlash doesn't support this ECU currently.
