EDC16C35 car don´t start

Postby Clemens » Tue Jul 14, 2020 1:28 pm

Hello,
After opening the ECU, I installed it and started the engine without any problems.
After reading backup via ktag, Ktag says "checksum error".
Now the car don´t start. No connection to Engine ECU.
I don´t write anything to ECU.

Car is BMW 320d E91 M47 163HP with EDC16C35 SW: 1039S23281 HW: 0281014575
What should i do now ? Please Help.
Thanks in advance

Communication by bdm is ok.
Is it likely that my control unit suffered mechanical damage after removal ?
is it possible to change software simply by reading?

These are the files that I read.
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

files are original and look fine, no its not possible to change software by reading in this ecu, check fuses and if ecu plugged correctly, if all ok most likely damaged when opening

Thank you for your help.
I will check the power supply.
What does it cost to send a used identical ecu to you and you do the software of the damaged ecu including your tuning on it?
