Basically we bricked a edc15c35 and we read the file bdm on cmd flash and wrote it back but got no ID with kess.. So my mate wrote a file with matching hardware numbers but the Software numbers dont match but we get ID with kess with the wrong file.. So just wondering if the read we took is curupt as we cannot ID it on kess

You should never mix tools, if it's just the flash you wrote then re-flash using ORI (BDM) with correct HW/SW numbers.
As long as you didn't write the eeprom you should be ok.
Some recoding may be needed but this will be the way to restore your car

Everythinghas been done by bdm100 apart from the first flash via obd that went wrong. Its just very strange how we get ID of the ecu via obd kess with the wrong HW but right SW flash on but as soon as we put our bdm read from when it bricked we get no ID im wondering if it has deleted some stored data that it cant write back as the bdm we took would only be a obd reading by the looks of it... Ive compares a kess read of the wrong HW file to mine with correct HW and there is alot of difference at the beginning of the file.

In flashing the wrong HW you may have tried to run the car, in this case your eeprom may have been written to by the flash.
You'll need an original virgin eeprom for you HW/SW and it should reinitialise the immo box.
but make sure you have the correct flash installed first or you'll have to start again
