I have to clone this ECU on my best friends car (MB C Classe CDI 270 ,2003 ,EDC15C6)

The first one has some Remap (I dont know from where but car was used with this remap years ago,buyed like this) ,the first one with note "ORI WITH REMAP" ,and the second called "FRESH NON OPENED" both with same numbers and symbols.

So I know that I need to read full EEProm from 5p08 (ST95p08),desoldering the chip - read it and write it to the second chip of the fresh ECU ,right?

But my question is : With this procedure the car will start and runs without problems?

Second I don't really believe in ghost remaping ,So I wanna start the car with ORIGINAL MAP that's in the Fresh ECU and If my friend wants a remap to do it myself.

So other question - only swaping 5p08 from old to fresh ECU works?

MUST edin and rewrite?

Yes, you copy eeprom and flash from ori to new and must to work straight.
