Corolla Denso ECU 89661-1E360 help please

Postby cartronix » Thu Dec 13, 2018 11:49 pm

Hi people, please inspect attached file and tell me if it's corrupt or not. I don't have much experience with this but to me it seems corrupt. Can someone please help me with a good file for this ECU? I'll gladly pay for a working file.
It's a 1999 Corolla 20v RXi with dignostic socket in engine bay NOT OBD2.
Thank you :)

It's 100% corrupt, no map data or even the correct size.
You'll need to read correctly before writing anything or you'll kill the car.

Thanks for your reply Shooting. This is the eeprom file 93c56 not the flash, Car came in as a non starter, all keys lost. Few guys have already tampered with this car. Coding a key is here is supposed to be a quick thing, but this vehicle refuses to code. Immobox file is perfect. This is the eeprom read of ECU on a few different programmers, so as you confirmed, the file is corrupt. Do you perhaps have a virgin or immo off file for me or perhaps advise further? Thank you :)

Get another ecu from the scrapyard and use eeprom from that, then code 2 new keys to it.
93c eeproms corrupt easily if the wrong programmer is used, also check if it is 8bit or 16bit read.
Use a PonyProg or MiniPro to program it or you will never solve it.
