If you look for original software that you must pay money for it then you can ask these guys http://www.evc.de/en/default.asp.
If you look for some hacked version then look on torrent sites.

If you read some manual it will be easier to work with.

Hi all, been a busy day for me - also spoke with Lars at EVC today, and purchsed the WINOLS software with 2 user license FULL version, I know im taking a chance with this software because it is so difficult to use, but in order to get support when needed, i had to purchase the full version -- i decided to take the plunge and have the software.

I was also directed to a company who offer SUPERMAPPACKS which are like DAMOS files and labell every MAP (up to 10 000 maps in some ECU's) for you so you can recognize them. This company also sends you an example tune file so you can compare it to your stock ECU file to see differences, and in which maps the differences occur and by how much they have been adjusted.

Hopefully this will get me on my way -- and prevent me from making too many mistakes. Ill share more when i get the Powergate which i also ordered from Alientech to do the reading and writting of the files.

Wish me luck.

Thanks ecuedit - I have a friend with an S3 TFSI with a K04R compressor wheel in it from TurboDirect, he needs a tune, running on stock map at the moment, runs fine, but up top RPM it needs some fuel.

I'll be doing a tune on his car first I think. I'll let you all see the original map, and then a screen shot of DAMOS file outline when I get it, just to help others who also in the same position I am with tuning.

I'll update soon.

hi all,

I have got the MAPPACK, but man o man -- its not easy to understand. This translation from German into English is a pain in the butt. Also seem to be getting the understanding of the maps incorrect, and therefore the labels wrong....

Can someone tell me where on earth the INJECTION and IGNITION MAP is please? here is a few screen shots of the MAPPACK i got and have started the translate :-
