Hi,

no need 75mg to 2550 bar (such injection times in combination with VA turbo and stock SOI (EOI 14-15) cause smoke and growth egt). All limiters (incl. boost) to improve.

Regards

welcome to the tuning industry mate, that why i do not post any tuned files on the forum because there are members that only download files, even though your file needs work they will still use it

you file is not good, it need allot of work, especially the torque limiter, and i don't see why you would change your SVBL? your boost limiter is also wrong that's why you had to change the SVBL.

Hi !
You should let stock TL until 1500 RPM, otherways your clutch will suffer. And.. for 70 mg/cyc + your EOI is 15-16 deg and this causes
high EGT. You should recalculate last column from SOI maps ( Add 2-3 deg. ). Otherwise.. your tuning is not bad..
Log the car and see what happens

Thanks for the feedback gents..
Just an update on the file. values that where 75 where changed to 70 that means 70mg on duration as well. Torque limiter was smoothend. Bear in mind the person that wanted the tune wanted a max tune and doesnt care about smoke, also the absolute boost was about 2750 mbar on which the car was running when i received the file and i lowered it to 2550 ( im only running AFR of 17.1). The car is running strong and smooth at this moment now.

Houdini please explain more constructively why the tune is so bad as you would say it is??? and give advice or guidance on the things you believe is wrong.

Guys, no 2 tuners tune the same (otherwise life would have been boring). Just because someone else would have done it slightly different doesnt mean the file is bad. Its always good to give some advice, but its bad if you just say something is bad or wrong with no reason. you are actualy not helping at all and just critisising from the sideline. Ive seen really really bad tunes before (not this one), but never just critisise without advice. This forum is for helping each other. Every person also wants their car being tuned different, hence the word "custom tuning". If one person wants 15% more and the other wants 40% more, then the files will differ day and night from each other, doesnt mean the tune is wrong tho, it also rely on personal preference of what the person wants that will affect the sort of tune being done. We are all different when it comes to tuning. Every input is vital.

you want my feedback here it is:

REQUESTED BOOST: looks okay, don't see why you would leave IQ axis stock if you have changed it everywhere else in the file.

BOOST LIMITER: this has not been worked out properly, every atmospheric pressure column has been flat lined.

SVBL: No Need to make any changes to this.

DURATIONS: looks fine.

SMOKE LIMITER: once Again columns have just been flat lined. 2 min Job

TORQUE LIMITER: to much fuel in Low RPM this clutch will slip.

SVRL:4500

SO my opinion is: there are some maps in the file that has been worked out properly like Duration. and there are other maps where values have been flat lined. flat lined always means that someone is to lazy or they just want to make a 5 min tune. in your case i don't understand why some maps were worked out and others was a quick change.

Thanks for your feedback houdini.
To respond to your statement: what do you mean flatlined? because smoke limiter (by maf, on which the car is running) was worked out for last 3 columns with AFR 17.1, and x-axis was changed to match the amount of air the turbo would be using, which is actualy 1191 at 2550 absolute, but i just rounded it 1200 on last column. Boost map i didnt change IQ-axis for i reason because then afr would run bit leaner which should add to better economy. Torque limiter has been changed since then with IQ being reduced from low rpm until about 2500 (smoothe increase). SVRL, i want a popcorn limiter at 4500.

if you look at your last column in the smoke limiter for example. you will see the whole 1200 column is flat lined to the same value, that's what i am talking about
