Scania Adblue removal?

Postby Figgelus » Thu Apr 18, 2013 9:03 pm

Hello, this was the closest thing I found,,,

Is there any easy way by chip file to disable the use of adblue in av scania truck?

Maybe someone already tried this and got it working without destroying the dpf on the truck?
As I have understood it, it should not be as easy such on a regular car?

Best regards Fredrik

Is there one here with experience of removing adblue system on a Scania R500 year 2008.
Adblue system is faulty and generate fault code EMS4144 and of course display light up with adblue system faulty.
Also power is reduced by around 40%.

If any one here are able to turn off adblue system and faults/powerloss, I'll off course be willing to pay for the file, mention your price. I can send you the ECU file by email.

Do you need ONLY lowering the Adblue consumption, or overriding any problem and ignoring faulty Adblue system?
Look here, anyway. You will understand the difference.

Hello,

I found a solution, by working a lot on the software, I managed to completely turn off adblue and all error codes.
So removal of SCR (adblue ECU) fuse is possible without error code or power reduction and no lamps 8-)

2 customers reports back, that together with my tuning and turn off adblue, the consumption is more than 20% less.

Thanks for answers

Regards
René

Hi there rene, would you be able to share your knowledge to me as regards adblue disabling? I already have sdp3 vci, sops decrypt and XML editor but am unsure of what parameters need to be changed. Any help will be much appreciated. Thankyou
