Questions about SOI map

Postby georgi_a4 » Sat Aug 29, 2015 1:32 pm

i all, i have renault laguna 1,9 DCI EDC15C2. I found all maps but there is something strange to me. I use factor 0.023437 for SOI map but there values with +. According to me degrees ATDC for 60 mm3/stroke wich is very strange. May be there is different factor for CR engines? Other strange thing is that map is scaled to 60 mm3 but ECU inject 68. In the forum someone was writing that when we inject more fuel we must advance SOI with 2 degrees for every 5 mm3. Do you hava some opinion about my doubts?

Positive value in this map is BTDC, negative is ATDC.
When used pilot-injection fuel burn fast and SOI later than without pilot-injection. Most of Renault EDC15 use max SOI less then 15 degree BTDC.
ECU use interpolation if need value not present in map.
