KWP 2000+

Hi everyone,

I own a 1999 puegeot 406 hdi, Can i use a KWP2000+ to back up and load maps from my ECU?

you can also use a Galletto 1260, which is cheaper.

KWP2000+ is more stable, it is worth to pay few $$$ more for it (Galletto: 23$, KWP2000+: 38$) --> funny. You can set read / write speed to slow or fast (for EDC15C2 use slow). Galletto writes it in 77sec, KWP in 3,5min. It is very stable.
Galletto does not want to connect to the ECU every time, when this happens KWP2000+ do its job. I prefer KWP2000+ if you have to decide for ECUs that are supported on the both devices.

Can somebody post the *.ept from KWP2000+ (PLUS). I am using just KWP2000 and can not find the ept file for KWP2000+.

What is the risk of using chinese flashers ? I have KWP2000+ and mpps13.02.

The risk is brick the ecu. MPPS v13 is a fake version from china, is the same of v12.
For EDC15 the best KWP, for me Galleto is very unstable.

in the bmw edc15dde (from a 2001 E39 530D) i´m using the KWP2000+ whitout any problem, and in the edc15P (from the audi A3 TDI PD 130 2001) is the same. So for me i advise this interface for this Bosch systems.
So one question. I want to read/prog the ECU of a 1999 volvo V70 T5. The ECU used in this model is the Bosch ME7, and i don´t know which interface is needed to do this job. Somebody can help me please?
