Actually, it depends who prepared the file.

I have many Damos, also you can buy it from the Damos Suppliers.

where is it best to look for damos files for a specific vehicle? just google?

And also, guess they are vehicle and engine specific? I mean a file for the same engine(type, power, etc.) but in a different car make(Saab/Vauxhall/Alfa Romeo diesels for example) would not work, right?

Where do you place the damos files? just in the winols program folder?

Yeah, Google will lead you to many tuning forums that have access to these. I've also seen them for sale on Ebay. Yes, they are specific to a particular vehicle/engine combination. Not only that, they are often specific to a certain software version. Many ECUs have several software versions over their lifespan and the maps are stored in different locations with each version.

Thank you for the info!
Before, i tried winols but i would only get a lot of lines, with some 3d graphs, and i was guessing which map corresponds to what.
But then i gave up, because i didn't want to risk with messing with the wrong map. Many of them are identical.
Like someone said here, i feel that damos is 50% of the work.
