All about how to remove FAP and DPF filters

Peugeot 407 1.6 HDi EDC16C3

Hi all

Been lurking here for a while.

I have the above vehicle that will not Rev over 2000 rpm and not go any faster than 10 mph. I have viewed live data and the differential pressure is throug the roof at idle so can only assume that the DPF is totally blocked so need to remove it, the physical removal is not an issue but the removal from the above ECU appears somewhat more difficult than the EDC15. I have trawled the Internet for days and am not much further forward, can anyone recommend any hardware that would read and save the map along with details of someone/a decent company in the North East of UK that can do the ECU side of things successfully and reliably, I am of course willing to pay but I need this to be done reliably.

Kind regards

Hi, did you manage to sort it? i have a similar problem with my peugeot 307 1.6 hdi 110. I'm waiting for the pp2000 to be delivered as I've tried Ecusafe and it doesn't seem to have worked. Car won't go past 3000 revs. Dpf has been drilled and egr blanked.
