Sorry, some boring/newbie advice needed :?
I'm just getting started. I have a VW EDC16u1 ECU (03G 906 016A) I'd like to do immo off on (and a few more things).

I have Galletto v54 tool - can I use this to do immo off, or only read flash from ECU? Is immo data stored on separate EEPROM?
I have read lots of conflicting information and I really can't figure out if I can or not - any help appreciated!

you need to read the eeprom data. this is done via BDM

This can be read with Galletto v54 in boot mode right?
