Ms41 ecu flashing

Postby Drifter » Mon Oct 02, 2017 9:32 pm

All,

I am trying to flush my ecu using romraider and gellato cable

I read the ecu file, modified using romraider and the wrote it again

I started the car and then switched off and once again read the ecu

It still has the old data? How is that possible?

Are you meant to remove the cable before starting the car?

You forgot to write what car you tried to flash and are you using 16 pin OBD2 connector or 20 pin BMW connector. I am assuming that your car has the BMW connector. If this is true then look at the picture and you will see why you can not write the new file in the ECU.
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

thanks mate, i connected wire 14 and 18 and it worked.

I actually did it before seeing the reply as was going crazy looking at every single forum :)

it is misleading when ecu says write accepted where it is not
