Kia Sorento Furia Rebuild

Postby lituzz » Thu May 19, 2016 3:53 am

Greetings mates,

This is a customer with a Kia Sorento Furia who bought it crashed and bringed it to rebuild. The difficult part is gone (Apparently) We replaced all the wiring (Not new but tested). Right now the car starts and runs at no more than 3k RPM. Generally this uses to happen when an issue with MAF is present. Actually I havent been able to errase that DTC (P0101-Mass or volume air flow"A" circuit range / Performance) on a EDC16C39 Module.

But what worries me the most, is the fact that Battery voltage reported with GSCAN is 17Vdc (With voltmeter to the battery its 13.5Vdc). Engine revolutions at GSCAN are 2300RPM but on tach are 3000. I've already installed a 2/0 wire from battery negative to the ECM chasis with no changes.

My question, Is it possible that this ECM is programmed for a different version? or maybe a missing ground wire? Right now I dont have a wiring diagram for this module so i havent been able to check all grounds at the ECM connector.

Thank you in advance for any help.
