interpretation of diesel nozzles BOSCH

Postby Tourino » Sat Feb 11, 2017 2:50 pm

hi!
what is meant by figures and letters in designation of a nozzle common rail?
for example:
ips17/zerak10s
ipl17/erak20s
etc.

figures usually represent the number of spray holes, the size and the angle of spray etc, different manufacturers have different methods

sorry for late reply!! been really busy here!!!!

ok your injector is no longer available and now new number is 0445-110-076 which has a nozzle that is DSLA 142 P 1474 (0433 175 431)

This particular nozzle is DSLA(common rail) 142p(degrees of spray angle) it has 5 holes which are 0.175mm

sometimes the spray angle has to be sacrificed for a larger nozzle or get a nozzle with more holes of same angle and or size!! its a bit of a balancing act I will look for some options for you when time allows!
