Injector coding Ford edc16c34

Postby Wod » Wed Jan 14, 2015 1:13 am

Hello all, I don't think elm or f2 can perform these functions. Do I have to purchase Ford IDS?
If I purchase this will I still need bdm to read maps or can Ids do this?
Thank you

Thank you for the reply, I have found options to code them in now. However I'm not going to go ahead with it until iv learned to remap my standard setup. Are you knowledgeable with bdm and winols? I need a wizard to run through a few things or it would be handy to observe this work being done, reckon you could give me a hand?
I only want to increase the torque limiter by 50nm
Raise the smoke limit map and turbo by around 10%, it should be all it needs as the cat and silencer have been removed
Thanks bud

I am only just learning and experimenting myself so i will not be of much use there. My experience lies in diagnostics so far.
Just experimenting with my 1.9 avs and edcedit.

Did forscan work to code injectors by the way, was not aware it had that function as it works with elm327. I am using bosch kts or autel for injector codes
