How to turn off dpf and related systems 1.6tdci?

Hi all,
I'd like to know how to turn off the dpf and related systems in my 2007 cmax 1.6tdci?
Looks like a previous owner has cut the insides out (suspected as there is what likes like a square cut out of the bottom and re-welded)
I have the modified elm 327 cable, hoping someone can show me how or point me in the right direction.
