Tunning cars is something I have always wanted to learn.. I don't know why I just do lol

I have a carberry rom tunned impreza sti ( tunned by andy car )
A bmw m140i standard
and a Vauxhall zafira c 1.6 diesil

I have a tacktrix cable. but not the tools to flash my impreza ....

I need an idoits guide on how to get started.. datalogging, read/write (flash) and interpreting tables.. along with associated cables and software ( where to get ) for the cars I own.. I have a good understanding of computers and how to interparate data but I just don't know where to start ... I plan on learning the data and how it impacts on the car then I will start road mapping a little at a time.. or is it better to get base maps and work from there...
