Ford C-max map

Postby joao-ml » Tue Sep 29, 2015 4:58 pm

Hi guys I don't know if this is the right place post this but I have a question, I've read the file of a ford focus c-max tdci with my mpps tool. But the map has only 1mb and I've seen maps for 1.6tdci with 2mb... Is this ok or it hasn't read all of the map?
I also haven't seen a map with this sw number anywhere.

Thanks

I've heard mpps causes issues with this ECU if you attempt to write the map. I would not try to do it. Use galletto instead.

the best way to do it is bdm.

dont use mpps. 99% you lock ecu

better use bdm on that one

you risk to loose config file from the eeprom by obd ( injector codes etc )
unless you use official obd tool

That's usually if you don't follow the 3 minutes off, 3 minutes on after the flash is over.
I've flashed mine around a dozen times and never had any issues. 10 minutes for writing, 3 minutes ignition off, 3 minutes ignition on. Then of you go.
