EGR

Postby tomhor » Tue Oct 23, 2012 12:32 pm

Hi
I write once again and ask about help.
I have a newer soft in my Scenic 1.9DCI and my EGR is still working. I changed marked bit to 0 on the screenshot:
egr.png

and no results.
I see, the EGR bit address in this soft is different then in my older. It is not 72696.
Anybody help me?

Regards,
Thomas

Thanks.
I've changed this bit to 0 and loaded to the car. Next, I plugged my car to ESI-tronik and tried manually (using built option) switch EGR and my EGR is still working.
Should I disconnect the power from EGR permanently?
When I had some older software and changed 72696 bit then EGR didn't work at all (power was connected).

Thanks redeye.
Your modification is not only change of 1 bit (switch on/off). I see, all map between addreses 73D70 and 73EC0 is changed. I don't understand this modification really :(
