EGR disabling in Alfa romeo 147 1.9 jtd 8v 115ps edc15c7

May be this information helps somebody.

1. Find a bit in adress 71AEF and change it from 001 to 000
2. find an EGR map, it 16x16 map before injection at the part trottle map. (k- factor - 4, adress 071F04, start adress 071EC0 in my version of firmware)
3. find there a maximum value - 12740 and replace all values in this map with it.

I do not understand what you do at 71AEF, you can give an example and post it on the forum.

Answer to your question is following. All edc15c7 have EGR switch in the form 8-bit singl map. For finding analyze damos and find next swtch "Switch, with/without (1/0) exhaust gas recirculation (1/0)"

reinzg,
egr switch for this file is located at : 71B55.
Look at 8bit mode you will se value 001.

001 -->TURNED ON,
000 --> TURNED OFF,

so if you want to turn it OFF you have to sat that value to 000,
make sure your checksum is correct and blend your EGR.

are 4 bits you put them all to zero
